Hotel Schwarzer Bär

The Schwrzer Bar is a very traditional hotel in Jena with over 500 years of history and famous former guests like Martin Luther and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The Bismarck room has been arranged with original Biedermeier furniture.The traveller will be pleased with the typically german hospitality and also with specialities from Thuringia and the international cuisine of our restaurant. Our 66 single- and double rooms are tastefully furnished and contain a total of 90 beds (39 cots available), in addition to a shower/bathroom, color television, direct dial telephone and mini-bar.
